This Diablo 2: Resurrected monster is quite challenging to dispatch, and he is guarding the Horadric Malus that is needed for the Tools of the Trade quest.

Fortunately, players need not slay the Smith in order to collect the quest item, as he can be kited out of the room to create a clear path to the Malus.

Specifically, that reward is the imbuement of a chosen item, which will add a randomly selected ability to the gear piece. It is worth mentioning that players can only imbue one item in this fashion, and it is thus recommended that they wait until later in the game, when they will have higher level gear, to turn in the Malus. Here are some tips for players to reel them in. The quest requires the player to find the Horadric Malus, an enchanted smithing hammer, in the barracks of the Rogue Monastery. Finding the monastery is the easier part of the mission. The enemies within the monastery are the true challenge of Tools of the Trade.
